Muhammad Saeed

Muhammad Saeed is a practicing Learning, development and performance expert with 16+ years of experience specializing in retail and community pharmacy sectors.

Saeed had the opportunity to work in the market leading retail pharmacy organizations in GCC and MENA. He held several operations managerial for different retail operations functions. Besides, he worked with number of professional retail vendors, suppliers and service providers including Lilly, Ego Pharmaceuticals, Bio Group, Teleperformance, etc.

Experience

After being graduated as a pharmacist in 2004, he started his career in Egypt as a pharmacist then senior pharmacist in one of the leading pharmacy chains in his town (Al- Abdellatif Tarshouby Pharmacies). Later in 2006, he moved to Nahdi, the market leading pharmacy chain in MENA & GCC, in Saudi Arabia where he practiced retail and community pharmacy as a store manager till 2010.

Saeed started his professional training and development career in 2010 till then. Started as a training specialist, training supervisor, regional training manger until he became the Head of “Research, Development and Instructional Design Unit” for Nahdi where he managed the design of the learning and development projects conducted in Nahdi. Finally, Saeed was the Head of Nahdi Retail Academy before moving to Egypt.

Based in Egypt, Saeed is currently the Managing Director of Retailo, a retail solutions firm that provides learning and performance solutions for both retailers and vendors and runs Pharmacy Retail Academy.

Certifications

Academically, Saeed carries “master’s degree of Community Pharmacy” granted by Queen’s University, UK. Besides, Saeed was an “Associate Clinical Professor” in Pharmacy College in King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, KSA. Saeed was a member of Advisory Board Committee in Pharmacy College in Umm Al-Qura University, KSA beside being a lecturer in several Saudi pharmacy colleges including King Saud University, Taibah University and King Khaled University. Saeed was the Pharm-D Internship Director. Saeed is a Certified Diabetic Educator and Certified Vaccinator by the Saudi Ministry of Health. Saeed was the Head of Scientific Committee and advisory board for Nahdi Executive Team.

Professionally, Saeed was Certified Professional and Learning Professional since 2014, by the American Society of Training and Development (now known as Association of Talent Development ATD), the world top professional organization in the training industry. Saeed is Also a certified professional in experiential learning by Martin Thompson Learning, UK.

Saeed managed many retail projects including Establishing E-Learning in Nahdi since 2014, Launching Specialty Pharmacy, Care Project and Antibiotic Stewardship Initiative, Store Leaders Program and building Community Pharmacy Competencies Framework and several other strategic projects.
